Lina George

Human resources professional Lina George has served as the Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for such companies as Sterling Commerce- an AT&T Company, Maxtor, Inc., NTT/Verio, Inc., and AT&T Broadband (formerly Tele-Communications, Inc).    Lina George has a proven track record of innovative human resources leadership and success in achieving exceptional business results.

With 22 years’ experience in human resources, Lina George has had worldwide responsibility for strategy and day-to-day operations in staffing, organizational effectiveness and development, compensation and benefits, global expansion, regulatory compliance, internal communications, employee metrics, management reporting and payroll.

Lina George has particularly strong expertise in mergers and acquisitions having been part of the executive teams in charge of integrating the $7B acquisition of Verio by NTT Communications of Japan and the $48B acquisition of Tele-Communications, Inc by AT&T.  

Earlier in her career, Lina George was a practicing attorney with the law firm of White & Steele and Great West Life Assurance Co. specializing in employment litigation and counseling corporate clients on human resources issues and employee benefits.  

Lina George holds both a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver.  She is currently completing her Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University.  Lina George also holds certificates in organizational effectiveness and strategic talent leadership.  She is bilingual with complete fluency in Spanish.
